Amsterdam, Netherlands
In the stillness of life we find our peace. When we stop, listen, we hear the sounds of the world, the hidden laughter, the silent confessions, a lingering moment in time. Our savored solitude.

Beautiful picture even though you were only in Amsterdam one day. I love how you colored just him, showing his point of view. Letting us feel his solitude even if he is among the sounds of the world which he enjoys. So can we.

Thanks! I’m obsessed with black and white pictures. Then with the pop of color helping to draw your eye, telling it’s own story.

I will find stillness of life when I die, but in the meantime, i run and when I run, I listen to the sounds of the world and the huffing and puffing of other runners. There is no hidden laughter during a run, but I do hide the pain and agony as I attempt to make the run look effortlessly to on-lookers. My savored solitude is an open water swim, followed by a long bike, then finish with a run and that my friends is peace.

A view into your peace. I believe it. That was beautiful.
