When We Fly

Why do we wait to jump, hesitate to fly
We fear the time in between
The void beneath us
Fear the shattering descent
Believing it is not our time

It is not our place to decide
Release yourself from choice
When we are ready, He will know
And when we jump we will soar
Needing the ground no more

  1. “fear the shattering descent” sounds like a sky diving adventure or a bungee jump. I would like to be the 1st Dominguez to sky dive, but it would probable be a one and done. Who’s in? Do not fear failure!
